Several road closures are set to disrupt residents of Harrow next month while major utility and other works are carried out, with one road in Hatch End to remain shut to motorists for nearly three months.
Station Road, providing access to North Harrow underground station, will be closed for two days between 4 and 6 September whilst unspecified road works take place. Nearby Southfield Park will reopen early in the month having been shut for the whole of August.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has found all of the ongoing and planned road closures that are happening in September, according to one.network. Whilst some closures will only take place overnight, others will see roads shut for weeks or even months at a time.
The closures could cause traffic disruption for residents who may need to find an alternative route to get to their destination.
Major closures include that of the Meredith Close in Hatch End, which will be closed for maintenance works by Thames Water from 1 September to 21 November. Marsh Road in Pinner is expected to finally reopen on 5 September having been closed off since 28 July whilst essential gas works took place.
