A dignified investiture ceremony was held at the Pakistan High Commission in London to honour distinguished overseas Pakistanis with civil awards in recognition of their contributions in business, healthcare and philanthropy.
The ceremony was attended by award recipients and their families, senior officials from the High Commission, prominent members of the British Pakistani community and representatives from the media.
Acting High Commissioner Mr Haseeb Bin Aziz conferred the awards on behalf of the President of Pakistan.

Among the recipients, businessman and entrepreneur Mr Fukhera (Frank) Khalid was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz for his services in the field of business and entrepreneurship.
Based in the UK, Mr Khalid has built a successful portfolio spanning retail, hospitality and film production. He also maintains significant investments in Pakistan and is widely recognise

d for his philanthropic work supporting charitable initiatives connected to the country.
Dr Irfan Malik received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his contributions to the field of neurosurgery, particularly spinal surgery.
A leading Pakistani neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital, Dr Malik specialises in complex spine
procedures, endoscopic spine surgery, epilepsy surgery and minimally invasive techniques. He is credited with performing the highest number of endoscopic spine surgeries in the UK and is also known for his work in medical education and healthcare charities supporting Pakistan during times of need.
Speaking at the ceremony, both Mr Frank Khalid and Dr Irfan Malik thanked the Government of Pakistan for recognising their services. They also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
