Two brothers who sparked a police appeal after going missing from their home in Kirklees have been found, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed.
Yousaf, 15, and Mohammed, 12, were reported missing from the Liversedge area on Saturday, 24 October, prompting concerns for their welfare and an appeal for the public’s help.
In an update issued on Friday, 30 October, police confirmed that both boys had been located, bringing an end to the missing children appeal.
Officers thanked members of the public who had shared information and helped circulate the appeal.

However, police have confirmed that they are continuing to search for the boys’ father, 42-year-old Kibriya Ahmed, who is wanted in connection with an alleged breach of a non-molestation order.
The order prevents Ahmed from having unsupervised contact with his two children.
In an appeal issued on Thursday, 29 October, while the boys were still missing, police said they believed Ahmed might have information about their whereabouts.
Officers had carried out extensive enquiries in an attempt to locate him before asking the public for assistance.
Although the children have now been found, the appeal to trace Ahmed remains active.
Police say he has connections to Rochdale and Manchester and are urging anyone who knows where he may be to come forward.
West Yorkshire Police have not disclosed further details about the circumstances in which the children were located.
Anyone with information that could help officers locate Kibriya Ahmed is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 or through the force’s online Live Chat service, quoting reference 13260586098.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
