Kam Chera, founder of Creative Inclusive Arts (CIA), attended the prestigious royal event alongside his wife Nedhi Basudev Chera. The couple have long supported community engagement through arts, culture and business initiatives across the region, including their catering enterprise.

Mr Chera, whose organisation champions diversity and inclusion through creative projects and cultural engagement, said the invitation was both emotional and inspiring.

“Honoured to be invited to The King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in recognition of contribution to Arts, Culture & The Creative Industries.

To walk through the gates of Buckingham Palace and stand among so many inspiring individuals was a truly surreal and deeply humbling experience. Grateful for the journey, the support, and the opportunity to continue celebrating the power of creativity with amazing people around me.”

Also invited to the royal celebration was Sandeep Kapoor, co-founder of Spice FM, one of the North East’s leading Asian radio stations, and Director of Chai Events.
