Local football talent Stoney Brown signs academy contract

BEAP / Bradford City Development Centre has celebrated the remarkable achievement of one of its young players, Stoney Brown.

After joining the development squad in April 2023, Stoney’s hard work, commitment, and passion for football earned him a prestigious contract with a professional academy.

Stoney’s journey exemplifies the mission of BEAP / Bradford City DC to nurture talent, provide opportunities, and inspire young athletes to reach their potential. His father, Trinity Brown, shared his heartfelt gratitude for the BEAP / Bradford City DC coaching team:

“Massive thanks to Ishy, Anwar, Imran, and the team for their tireless efforts week in and week out. They create an environment where children can grow, learn, and enjoy football. Stoney has come a long way from joining the development squad to being awarded ‘Most Improved Player’ at the BEAP Sports presentation. His Academy contract is a testament to the incredible support and coaching he’s received.”

Hiron Miah, Chair of BEAP, expressed his pride in Stoney’s success: “This is exactly why BEAP / Bradford City DC was established to give local young people the opportunity to develop their talent and pursue their dreams. Stoney’s achievement is a shining example of what can happen when dedication meets opportunity, and we couldn’t be more proud.”

Ishfaq Hussain, Head Coach at BEAP DC, added: “Stoney’s journey has been remarkable. His determination and willingness to learn have been key to his progress, and this Academy contract is well-deserved. At BEAP / Bradford City DC, we aim to create a supportive pathway for young players, and seeing them achieve their goals is the ultimate reward for all of us.”

BEAP / Bradford City Development Centre was established in 2022 in partnership with Bradford City to provide opportunities for local communities on their football journeys.
