Muslim Boxing Awards 2025 to honour champions of the ring

The UK’s Muslim boxing community is set to take centre stage as the LB Muslim Boxing Awards 2025 comes to Birmingham on Saturday, 22 March. Hosted at the prestigious Grand Botanical Suite, the event will bring together champions, rising stars, and industry professionals to celebrate excellence in the sport.

Presented by Legal Blows, the awards aim to recognise the achievements and contributions of Muslim athletes in boxing, highlighting their skill, dedication, and impact inside and outside the ring. With a star-studded guest list, including past and present boxing greats, the ceremony is expected to be a milestone moment for the community.

The initiative is led by Adil Hussain, a solicitor with over two decades of experience in top international law firms and investment banking. A senior equity partner at one of the world’s largest law firms, Hussain has established a strong presence in the boxing world, working with grassroots initiatives and elite-level professionals alike. His collaborations include former two-time world champion Amir Khan, and he continues to sponsor and support both amateur and professional fighters.

Explaining the vision behind Legal Blows, Hussain said:
“Many athletes are unaware that they have the ability to negotiate contracts to secure better opportunities. Legal Blows was created to educate and guide boxers on legal and business matters, empowering them to protect their interests and maximise their careers.”

The awards will feature multiple categories, celebrating achievements across all levels of the sport. More than just a night of recognition, the event seeks to foster unity within the boxing community and inspire the next generation of fighters.

With anticipation building, the LB Muslim Boxing Awards 2025 is poised to become a defining event in the sporting calendar, shining a light on the resilience, discipline, and excellence of Muslim athletes in the ring.
