Women leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives from across the world will gather in London this May as the Creative Women Platform hosts its flagship 2025 forum under the theme “Gateway to a Sustainable Future.”
Taking place from 7–9 May, the three-day event will be held at two of the capital’s most historic venues: the House of Commons and Plaisterers’ Hall. The programme will open with a reception at the House of Commons, before two days of discussions, workshops, and keynote sessions focusing on women’s role in sustainability, innovation, and social impact.
This year’s forum will welcome an impressive line-up of speakers, including royal guests HRH Princess Noura Bint Saud Bin Nayef Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. They will be joined by leading entrepreneurs such as Tessa Clarke, Co-Founder and CEO of OLIO; Marie-Noelle Keijzer, CEO of WeForest; Irina Gorbounova, Vice President at ArcelorMittal and Head of the XCarb Innovation Fund; and businesswoman Linda Plant, known for her appearances on BBC’s The Apprentice.
The programme also brings together influential figures from the worlds of sport, creativity, and media, with names including Rebeca Riofrio, Chair of the Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion and Sports; broadcaster and entrepreneur Norah Casey; and Liz Perkins, Night News Editor at The Sunday Telegraph.
The forum will conclude with a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on 9 May, recognising outstanding achievements by women in sectors linked to sustainability. The evening will also feature keynote speeches and live performances from internationally renowned female artists.
Olga Balakleets, Founder and CEO of Creative Women Platform, said the 2025 theme is especially relevant given the urgent challenges facing the world.
“Women are stepping into critical roles across industries—leading change, championing the environment, and building inclusive economies,” she said. “Our forum exists to amplify those voices, foster collaboration, and empower the next generation of female changemakers.”
Rebeca Riofrio, Creative Women Platform Honorary Ambassador and Chair of the Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion and Sports, added: “It is crucial to support and amplify the voices of women in sustainability, ensuring equitable solutions for current and future generations.”
Founded nine years ago, the Creative Women Platform has grown into a global network connecting leaders from more than 50 countries, committed to creativity, leadership, and mentorship.
