Amaar, 24, is fighting out of Dewsbury and will compete in his first stadium fight, taking on experienced boxer Jake Smith at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Amaar is the favourite for the fight, as he is coming into the fight with the best form and Smith is struggling with a professional fight record of one win and 30 losses.

He said he is feeling confident going into the bout on Friday night and that this camp was the first time he hasn’t had any injuries in the build up.

He said: “This is the first time I’ve done nearly a full camp without any hand injuries and in sparring I have been firing and I’ve been sharp so I’m confident going into the fight.”

Despite it being his first stadium fight, it isn’t causing him any nerves or worries but has a feeling this will be his best fight so far in his career.

He said: “These are the kind of shows the best comes out of me, and even in the amateurs
when I fought people double my experience, I was always clued on and I feel like this could
be my best performance so far.”

Amaar has had a luxurious amateur career, with two national titles and a six-time regional boxing champion and also represented Great Britain.

Starting boxing at the age of 14, after his dad, Zahir, started a boxing gym called Warrior
Breed Club in Dewsbury.

He decided to go professional after a long discussion with his father and promised him that
he would put his head in the game and stay with it, which so far has been proved to be the
correct move.

The club was started due to the rising crime rates in the area, and to discourage anti-social
behaviour and gangs, and the area has seen the benefits from the gym.

As the gym has produced many boxers, who have won titles nationally and locally.
Amaar has always been a promising boxer and gained the nickname ‘The Prodigy’ and is
striving to put Dewsbury on the map and also become more successful than Tyson Fury and conquer the United States.

At the age of 22, he was taken on by world-famous promoter Frank Warren. But despite being named as the next best thing, he hasn’t allowed it to affect who he is as a person.

This is because he continues to go down to the gym and train with the young people who go and train there.

He is also fighting for good in the world, as he is currently supporting the Solar Water Panel Project, which aims to strengthen humanity’s fight against social justice, and natural disasters.

With an ever-growing fan base with every fight, he uses his social media platforms to
advocate and draw the attention of his followers to the horrors that are going on in the world.
