People have been able to view plans for a major city centre regeneration in a building that will soon be demolished to make way for the scheme.
Bradford City Village will see close to 1,000 homes built on three sites in Bradford city centre – the site of the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, the site of Oastler Market and on a number of car parks off Westgate.
A public consultation into the first phase of the plans began earlier this month, and on Thursday, the first in a series of drop-in events was held in the former Samsung unit at Kirkgate Shopping Centre.
A further two drop-in events will take place on Saturday and next Wednesday.

Phase one of the plans, which are out for consultation, will see new homes built around Chain Street, off Westgate, and the top end of the Oastler site.
Visitors to the drop in on Thursday saw a 3D model of how this part of the city centre will look once the new housing is built, and were invited to have their say on the plans.
Bradford Council has appointed ECF – the partnership between Homes England, L&G and Muse – as its development partner to deliver Bradford City Village.
The project has so far received major inward investment, including £13.2 million in-principle funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, alongside £30 million of Government funding via Homes England.
It is hoped the scheme will find a new life for an area of the city centre that has been blighted by shop closures and declining footfall.
The detailed plans show 64 two and three-bedroom townhouses built on the northern Oastler site, arranged around a series of courtyards and green spaces.
On the Chain Street site, 33 townhouses, a mix of two and three-bedroom homes, will be centred around a new community green.
The second phase will include a higher density of homes – more than 300 apartments on the southern half of the Oastler site, currently occupied by Oastler Market, and about 400 apartments on the Kirkgate Shopping Centre site.
These sites will also include shops, cafes and business space.
There will also be new green spaces, including ‘Darley Park’ opposite the new Darley Street Market.
Representatives of Muse will be on hand during the drop in sessions to answer questions about the huge development.
The next two drop ins will be held at the Samsung unit on Saturday, 31 May, from 11am to 4pm and Wednesday, 4 June, from 3pm to 6.30pm.
