Kirklees’ free Yorkshire Day celebrations are back and bigger than ever

The festivities will be returning to Oakwell Hall next month

Yorkshire Day celebrations at Oakwell Hall are back and bigger than ever for 2025.

Kirklees Council is inviting residents and visitors to join together at Oakwell Hall & Country Park on Sunday, August 3, for its biggest Yorkshire Day celebration yet. This free, family-friendly festival promises a vibrant day filled with music, food, creativity, and community pride in the heart of the historic parkland.

The much-loved annual event offers a packed programme of activities and entertainment for all ages, running from 11am to 4pm against the stunning backdrop of the Grade I listed Elizabethan manor and gardens.
