Bradford-based food group Regal Foods has announced the acquisition of Suncrest, a well-known soft drinks brand established in 1985.
Suncrest, recognised for its distinctive tropical fruit-flavoured drinks, offers both still and carbonated beverages in bottled, canned and carton formats. Popular flavours include mango, tropical, lychee, guava, coconut water, aloe vera and the South Asian favourite, lassi.
As part of the acquisition, Regal Foods will introduce a new bottled variant of Suncrest in Asda stores nationwide ahead of Diwali. The launch will feature mango, tropical, lychee and guava flavours, marking a fresh chapter for the brand.
Headquartered in Bradford, Regal Foods has built a global presence since its formation, with a portfolio spanning bakery, confectionery, snacks and drinks across retail and foodservice markets.
Younis Chaudhry MBE, chief executive of Regal Food Products Group Plc, said: “We are delighted to welcome Suncrest into the Regal Foods family. As a well-loved and recognisable soft drinks brand, Suncrest is a natural fit for our expanding beverage portfolio and supports our long-term growth strategy.
“We are particularly excited to reintroduce Suncrest to consumers, with a focus on new product development and innovation to drive the brand forward.”
