Several road closures are set to disrupt residents of Harrow this month while major utility and other works are carried out, with one road in Harrow Weald to remain shut to motorists until the end of November.
Clamp Hill in Harrow Weald will close on 22 September, and remain shut throughout all of October and most of November while gas works take place. Nearby, Honey Pot Lane will also be closed for a week early in the month as UK Power Networks maintenance is carried out.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service has found all of the ongoing and planned road closures that are happening in October. While some closures will only take place overnight, others will see roads shut for weeks, or even months, at a time.
The closures could cause traffic disruption for many residents, who may need to plan ahead and find alternative routes to their destinations.
Major closures include that of the Meredith Close in Hatch End, which will remain closed for maintenance works by Thames Water until 21 November, having been shut since early September. The Avenue, also in Hatch End, is expected to reopen on 3 October, having been closed off since 1 September while water works took place.
