A ‘remarkable’ young boy in Bradford, supporting children within his ‘community’

With Eid Al-Adha approaching, this is a particularly meaningful time for Muslim communities in the UK.

Earlier this year, My Salah Mat travelled from Newport to Bradford to meet Eisa, a remarkable 15-year-old boy with Down Syndrome who has been using his own experience to help other children like him learn how to pray.

Eisa had been supporting younger children within his community—showing patience, leadership, and a deep sense of compassion.

The team at My Salah Mat were so moved by his dedication that they travelled to meet him personally and joined him in gifting their Adult Interactive Prayer Mats to local children in the community with additional needs.

‘What stood out most wasn’t just Eisa’s maturity and confidence, but his sincere desire to help others grow in their faith—even at such a young age.’
