Aston Martin marks 25 years of the Vanquish with ultra-exclusive anniversary edition

One of Britain’s most iconic sports cars is celebrating a major milestone, as Aston Martin unveils a limited-edition Vanquish created to honour 25 years of one of the marque’s most recognisable nameplates.

Just 50 examples of the new Vanquish 25 will be produced worldwide, 25 Coupes and 25 Volantes, making it one of the rarest modern Aston Martins ever offered.

Designed through the luxury manufacturer’s bespoke Q by Aston Martin division, the anniversary model pays tribute to the original Vanquish, first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2001. That car would go on to become one of the defining grand tourers of its generation, helping shape Aston Martin’s modern identity while earning a place in British automotive history.

Rather than reinventing the Vanquish, the anniversary edition revisits many of the design cues that made the original so distinctive. Exclusive silver paintwork, bespoke badging, handcrafted interior finishes and subtle references to the original model combine with the latest generation of Aston Martin engineering to create a car that celebrates both heritage and innovation.

Underneath, the Vanquish remains the flagship of Aston Martin’s front-engined sports car range. Powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 producing 835PS, it delivers a top speed of 214mph and accelerates from 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds, combining supercar performance with the craftsmanship expected from one of Britain’s most prestigious luxury manufacturers.

The launch also highlights the growing importance of Aston Martin’s bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin, which continues to create highly personalised commissions for collectors around the world. Every Vanquish 25 will feature exclusive design details unavailable on the standard production model, reinforcing its status as a collector’s piece rather than simply a limited-edition sports car.

Vittorio Gabba, Head of Q at Aston Martin, said the anniversary model recognises the Vanquish’s place in the company’s history.

He said: “Twenty-five years on from the unveiling of the very first Vanquish, it is only right that we mark this nameplate’s contribution to our heritage. Vanquish 25 builds on the extraordinary achievements of the modern, third-generation Vanquish while subtly celebrating this important milestone.”

The original Vanquish arrived at a pivotal moment for Aston Martin, introducing a bold new design language and helping establish the marque as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hand-built luxury performance cars. A quarter of a century later, the name continues to represent the pinnacle of Aston Martin’s front-engined sports car range.

The Vanquish 25 will make its public debut during Monterey Car Week in California next month, with customer deliveries expected to begin later this year.
