Award winning law firm launches Bradford Professionals Network at Bradford Live

Around 200 people from across Bradford’s business community attended the launch of the Schofield Sweeney Bradford Professionals Network last week.

The event, one of the first corporate gatherings to be held in the new Ballroom at Bradford Live, brought together representatives from professional services, manufacturing, retail, finance, real estate, charities, education and leisure, alongside local dignitaries.

The initiative, organised by commercial law firm Schofield Sweeney, aims to strengthen collaboration across sectors and highlight opportunities for growth in the district.

Managing Partner Graham Sweeney told guests the network was about celebrating Bradford’s business community at a time when the city was gaining momentum, citing the City of Culture 2025 status, the opening of Bradford Live and Darley Street Market, and improvements to the city centre.

He said: “There is already a strong business community in the city and now is the time to celebrate and build it further. We hope the Schofield Sweeney Bradford Professionals Network will be the conduit for that growth and for more businesses and organisations to collaborate and work together.”

Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transport at Bradford Council, welcomed the launch, describing it as “an important part of growing Bradford’s economy.”

Further network events are planned for 2026. Anyone wishing to attend can contact Ann-Marie Keighley on ann-mariekeighley@schofieldsweeney.co.uk
