Businesses in five areas across the Bradford district will benefit from new ‘Fibre-to-the-Premises’ broadband.
Alternative network operator Brsk already has a network passing 130,000 business premises across West Yorkshire, but it has just announced it will be expanding to cover 10,000 premises in Denholme, Haworth, Crossroads, Wilsden, and Cullingworth.
Residents and businesses in Cullingworth were the first to enjoy access to Brsk’s new network and work is currently underway to connect Haworth, Crossflatts, Denholme and Wilsden, which should be completed by December this year.

Bradford Council’s Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Transport and Planning Alex Ross-Shaw said: “Digital connectivity has become a fundamental part of business. Some of these locations do already have some degree of coverage but we are delighted by the announcement.
“Teams from the Council have been engaging with BRSK and sharing our mapped data on areas which would benefit from coverage. We are pleased this seems to have informed their plans and we know the businesses owners in these areas will really benefit.
“This rollout means businesses will soon have access to the fastest upload and download speeds available in the market, increased reliability and most importantly, more broadband choice.”
