Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is highlighting the positive work done by local children. Using its upcoming virtual board meeting it will provide details of a great project in which local children are helping to improve the mental wellbeing of those around them.

The project, run by the Care Trust, Bradford district and Craven’s Clinical Commissioning Group, Healthy Minds, and Youth in Mind, sees young people producing an excellent song about kindness and its effect on wellbeing. KCU (kindness, compassion and understanding) was penned by the Healthy Minds apprentices to encourage their peers to demonstrate these qualities for themselves.

In addition, attendees at the meeting will hear updates about the board’s work and hear from the Trust’s director of nursing, professions, and care standards Phillipa Hubbard, who will provide an update on the progress of Bradford’s covid-19 vaccination centres, following the opening of the second site at Bradford College Old Building on Monday 15 March.

The live online meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams on Thursday 25th March between 8.45am and 12pm. If you’d like to attend contact the Foundation Office by email: FT@bdct.nhs.uk or phone: 01274 363544.
