The Sports Campaign Against Racism (SCAR) is set to launch Beyond the Realms of The Field, a new podcast series dedicated to highlighting the inspiring journeys of women of colour.
This series will dive into the personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs of remarkable women—leaders, change-makers, and role models—who are shaping communities and fostering inclusivity.
The debut episode features Fozia Naseem – an inspiring leader, sports entrepreneur, and one of Cycling UK’s Top 100 Women in Cycling. Beyond her achievements in sports, Fozia is a pioneer in the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to transform lives.
Through her unique combination of cycling, yoga, and NLP, Fozia has empowered thousands to develop confidence, resilience, and renewed energy, motivating individuals to achieve their full potential and drive lasting change.
“I am honoured to be part of Beyond the Realms of The Field and share my story alongside so many amazing women,” Fozia Naseem said. “This podcast provides a powerful space for our voices, experiences, and journeys to be heard, and I hope that my story and those of other women can inspire listeners to see beyond barriers and pursue their passions with confidence.”
The series aims to spotlight how women across various fields are breaking barriers, building inclusive communities, and leading with purpose and impact. With real voices from Bradford and beyond, Beyond the Realms of The Field aims to spark crucial conversations on diversity, inclusion, and the power of women’s leadership.
“This podcast is a celebration of the inspiring women of colour who are not only breaking stereotypes but also leading and transforming their communities in extraordinary ways,” said Dr Ikram Butt, Executive Director of SCAR. “At SCAR, we believe in amplifying the voices of those who are often underrepresented, and Beyond the Realms of The Field is a step toward fostering conversations that will empower, educate, and inspire.”
