Police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Zakaria Chowdhury, known as Zak, who has been missing since the early hours of 7 February in Newcastle city centre.
Zak was last seen at around 2:30 AM and has not been heard from since, prompting growing concern from both his family and the police. Officers are urging the public to assist in tracing his movements.

Description and Last Known Movements
Zakaria Chowdhury is described as an Asian male, 6ft tall, of slim build with dark hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy-blue Hugo Boss hooded top with gold stripes on the arms and hood, black joggers, and black trainers with red stripes.
He has known links to Whitley Bay in North Tyneside and Sunderland.
Northumbria Police have revealed that CCTV footage captured Zak in the Centre for Life area and later inside a premises on Neville Street shortly before he was reported missing. It is believed he then travelled past Central Station towards Westgate Road.
Police Appeal for Information
In a renewed effort to locate him, police have released new CCTV images showing Zak in

the clothing he was last seen wearing. Officers are appealing for anyone who was walking or driving in the area at the time, particularly those with CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward and assist with the investigation.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said:
“Even the smallest piece of information could be vital in helping us build a clearer picture of Zak’s movements. We urge anyone who may have seen him, or has footage from the area, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
