Planning application to keep food kiosk ‘submitted to Bradford Council’

A decision on the retrospective application is expected in August.

A Retrospective planning application to keep a food kiosk that was installed at a busy Bradford venue over 18 months ago has been submitted to Bradford Council.

Bradford Plaza in Thornbury has become one of the busiest shopping destinations in the area in recent years, with numerous clothing and food stalls.

Now a retrospective application has been lodged to retain a kiosk that was built at the plaza’s Rushton Avenue entrance, near the entrance to Morrisons, without planning permission.

The application, submitted by Z+F Properties, says the 15 square metre kiosk, known as Deli Plaza, was built in January 2024 and employs two people.

A decision on the retrospective application is expected in August.
