Bradford residents can have their say on policies that effect businesses like pubs, cafes and even hypnotists.
Bradford Council is currently reviewing its Licensing policies, and has published a draft licensing policy that will run until 2030.
The policy will cover:
- The sale by retail of alcohol
- The supply of alcohol by or on behalf of a club to a member of the club
- The provision of regulated entertainment
- The provision of late-night refreshment (sale of hot food or drink between 11pm and 5am)
Other aspects the act considers include pavement cafes, open air concerts and stage hypnotism.
A consultation on the draft policy runs until 21 September.
A Council spokesman said: “We are consulting widely, including with businesses and the local community. Please feel free to comment on any aspect of this policy that is of interest or concern to you. All views received will be incorporated into a report that will be considered by Councillors in due course.”
