Bradford Council is looking for people to join their adult social care team in a new recruitment drive.
The council is looking for people to fill managerial and front-line care roles.
The council is looking for people from “a variety of backgrounds” who are “passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and helping in their local community.”
A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: “People from a variety of backgrounds are being sought to bring their diverse life experiences to enhance the council’s workforce, which provides guidance, support and assistance to the citizens of the Bradford district to help them to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
“Every day is different. You can watch video descriptions from people who already do these job roles across the district. Staff from across the department from the strategic director, to service managers have recorded their real-life stories and about their roles in the Council and the difference that those working in Adult Social Care really do make to people’s lives.”
Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We want to reach out to people who want to make a difference. I expect we have all at some point in our lives looked after and cared for someone we love, and having that care and support will have made a huge difference. We are encouraging people to come forward, get in touch and make a difference in someone’s life.”
