Plans for a retail and residential development on Lumb Lane have been submitted to Bradford Council.
The proposals would see a three storey building built on a vacant plot of land next to 268 Lumb Lane.
The land had previously been used for residential purposes, although four homes once located on the site have long been demolished.
It is currently fenced off and the application by Master Developments says: “The land currently sits vacant with overgrowth vegetation and is also being used for fly tipping.
“The proposal will contribute to local development and provide new facilities within this area of Bradford.”
The plans would see four shops created on the ground floor, with parking spaces in a basement area.
The upper two floors would each house four, one bed flats.
A decision on the application is expected later this month.
