A soon to open Bradford city centre restaurant has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
The former Superdrug unit on Bank Street is currently being fitted out, and a licensing application to Bradford Council has revealed it will be a new Sala’s restaurant.
The business, which specialises in Slovakian food, is currently based on John Street.
Ladislav Oracko has applied for a licence for the Bank Street restaurant to serve alcohol from 11am to 10pm on Sundy to Thursday, to midnight on Friday and to 2am on Saturday.
The unit has been empty for several years, and is a short distance from the new Darley Street Market, which is due to open next year.
Another empty unit on the street recently re-opened, becoming a new branch of Cash Generators.
And signage has been installed on the former bank building opposite the future Sala’s indicating it is soon to open as a new discount store called Pound Saver.
