The children who died after a blaze broke out in a terraced property in Napier Road, East Ham have been named.
The fire which broke out on Saturday 13 July took the lives of seven-year-old boy Muhammad Hanan Malik; 11-year-old girl Aayat Malik and 13-year-old boy Nakash Malik.
In a statement paying tribute to the children, their parents Khurram Malik and Naumana Gul Khan said: “Your lives were a blessing, your memory a treasure.
“You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May you rest in peace in God’s heaven.”
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the fire alongside London Fire Brigade colleagues. At this stage, there is no evidence to indicate suspicious circumstances. Enquiries are ongoing.
