Three men have been jailed for a total of 30 years after abducting an 18 year old man and subjecting him to a sustained horrific attack.

On December 11 2018 Conor Hinchcliffe, Zain Hussain and Ateeq Rashid bundled their 18-year-old victim into a car in Clough Lane, Earlsheaton. They then proceeded to subject him to a vicious and prolonged assault stabbing him multiple times leaving him with serious injuries.

Hinchcliffe, Hussain and Rashid were jailed for 13 years, 9 years and 20 years respectively.
Case officer Sergeant Ian Carruthers, said:

“This was a seriously violent attack and I hope that the sentence these men have received will be of some comfort to the victim and will give him some closure.”

He added that “violent offences will not be tolerated and those found to be involved can expect to receive significant sentences when brought before the courts.”
