Three men have been jailed for arson and violent disorder during an incident which saw a bus set on fire in Harehills on 18 July 2024.
Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, said: “I saw first-hand the impact that this violent disorder had on the community, and I am pleased that justice has now been served.
“Whilst a minority of mindless individuals looked to cause chaos, the people of Harehills stepped up and worked tirelessly to restore calm to their neighbourhood.
“Thank you to all those involved in securing these convictions. Violence like this will not be tolerated here in West Yorkshire.”
