A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a serious car collision in Leeds.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on Dewsbury Road in the early hours.
Officers were called at 00.19 this morning by the ambulance service reporting a two-vehicle collision.
A white Golf and a yellow Citroen were involved.
The occupants of the White Golf suffered minor injuries. The occupants of the yellow Citroen left the scene before officers arrived.
Two women who are believed to have been in the Citroen were later found at the hospital with injuries to their backs.
