A new dining concept is preparing to open its doors in Bradford with an invitation-only launch limited to just 80 guests.
Golden Palms has transformed the front end of the former Telegraph & Argus building into what it describes as the city’s first “three-in-one” dining experience, blending a coffee lounge, co-working hub and grand world buffet under one roof.
The newly designed coffee shop greets visitors through the building’s iconic expansive glass windows, now softened by warm ambient lighting that spills gently across wooden finishes and plush seating. The space feels intimate yet contemporary, a setting equally suited to a quiet morning espresso or an evening catch-up over mocktails.
Guests can choose from a selection of hot and cold drinks, including crafted alcohol-free mocktails, alongside premium pastries, cakes and indulgent snacks designed to complement the drinks menu. The atmosphere has been curated to feel welcoming and relaxed, a place where customers can linger rather than rush.
Coffe, collaboration and global cuisine
In another corner of the vast building sits a dedicated co-working space aimed at hybrid workers, freelancers and entrepreneurs. For the price of a or two coffee, visitors can use the area for presentations or small meetings, with access to a large fitted screen and projector, creating a practical city-centre alternative to working from home.
However, the centrepiece lies towards the rear of the venue.
The Golden World Buffet promises more than 70 dishes spanning Chinese, Mexican, Korean and Italian cuisines, alongside a rich selection of South Asian curries, freshly baked cakes and over 20 flavours of ice cream. Diners can eat as much as they like and stay as long as they wish.
There is also a live cooking station area, where diners can have items such as kebabs and a range of sliders, prepared live and straight on to the plate
The buffet includes unlimited drinks and is priced at £29 per person. Children under five dine free, while those aged between five and ten are charged £15.
The Golden Palms world buffet will operate strictly by booking only. Reservations are now open via WhatsApp on 07561 534716.
Reviews have already started, with both adults and children rating the space a full 5/5 with some even going to 6/5.
One diner told Asian Standard: “It’s amazing – it has a really good selection of food. I’ve tried a number of varieties of dishes from different countries – it’s nice to try dishes I’ve never had before. I would say the service has been excellent and it’s value for money”

Director of Heaton Woods Finance, Faisal Khan was overwhelmed with the range of cuisines, but was particularly impressed with the convenience of the co-working space and the well brewed coffee. He said:”I can definitely see myself seeing a lot of clients and lenders meeting here. It’s going to be a really great space to work and look out through those huge iconic windows”
The invitation-only launch marks the beginning of what owners hope will become one of Bradford’s most distinctive hospitality destinations, combining community workspace, café culture and global dining in one landmark setting.
