Bradford Business Improvement District (BID) has announced the launch of its inaugural Bradford BID Member Awards, a new annual event designed to celebrate the innovation, resilience and success of the city’s diverse business community.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 25 June 2026 at the landmark Bradford Live, bringing together businesses from across retail, leisure, hospitality and professional services for an evening dedicated to recognising achievement and ambition in Bradford city centre.
Set to become a highlight of the city’s business calendar, the event will shine a spotlight on the people and organisations helping to drive Bradford forward, while also providing an opportunity for businesses to connect, celebrate and share their successes.
The evening will be hosted by broadcaster and DJ Stephanie Hirst, who will lead the awards ceremony before closing the night with a high-energy after-party disco.
The Bradford BID Member Awards will feature 10 award categories, all open to self-nomination, ensuring businesses of all sizes and sectors have the chance to put themselves forward. From independent traders and national brands to charities, restaurants and service providers, nominations are open to all BID members.
Entries will be accepted until 4 May, after which a panel of judges will review submissions and select finalists ahead of the awards night.
Jonny Noble, Chief Executive of Bradford BID, said the awards reflect the strength and diversity of the city’s business community.
“Bradford has an incredible business community, and we’re proud to represent around 575 members in the city centre,” he said. “These awards are about shining a spotlight on the people and organisations that make Bradford such a vibrant and ambitious place to work, invest and visit.
“We wanted to create something that is inclusive, celebratory and truly representative of our members. Hosting the first-ever Bradford BID Member Awards at Bradford Live, with Stephanie Hirst at the helm, feels like the perfect way to do that.”
Further details, including award categories, nomination forms and sponsorship opportunities, are available via the Bradford BID website.
For businesses across the district, the new awards mark a major moment of recognition — celebrating not just commercial success, but the collective energy and pride that continues to shape Bradford’s future.
