The Dewsbury Business Network is set to hold its second event on Tuesday 10 December, bringing together local entrepreneurs and business owners for workshops, networking and a buffet.
Established to support existing and emerging enterprises in the town, the network aims to boost investment and footfall in Dewsbury by encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The programme features two practical 30-minute workshops, each repeated to allow attendees to join more than one session. Topics include starting a business with advice from Business Kirklees, and growing a brand on TikTok and Instagram, led by social media specialist Rachel Moore.
Sophie Johnson, Chair of the Dewsbury Neighbourhood Board, will also outline the board’s work and its plans to support business growth in the town.
The event takes place at Dewsbury Town Hall, doors open at 5.30pm, with workshops beginning at 6pm. A buffet will follow the sessions, and the evening is expected to conclude by 8pm. The event is supported by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and part-funded by the UK Government.
Jackie Ramsay, Chair of The Arcade, said:
“This is a key step towards what we hope will become a thriving business network for Dewsbury. We have excellent businesses and entrepreneurial talent in the area, and by coming together with a shared purpose, we can create real benefits for the town.”
Attendance is free, but registration is required via The Arcade’s website here
