He’s more accustomed to the bruising world of bare-knuckle boxing than the relaxing surroundings of a beauty salon, but world champion fighter Gareth ‘Gaz’ Corran swapped the ring for some pampering during a visit to Bradford.
The Lancashire-born fighter, also known as ‘The Crusher’ and ‘Gaz Crush’, visited Prity’s for a facial and IV treatment, adding his name to the salon’s growing list of sporting clients.

Corran, from Darwen, made headlines in 2022 when he became the first fighter to hold world championship titles in both Lethwei, a traditional form of Burmese bare-knuckle fighting, and bare-knuckle boxing.
More recently, Corran added another title to his collection, winning the inaugural BKFC UK middleweight championship in Manchester in September after stopping Mac Bygraves in the third round.
But it was the Bradford salon’s reputation, rather than its proximity to the boxing world, that persuaded him to book an appointment.
In a video shared on Prity’s social media, Corran told the salon’s founder, Pritt Farooq, that he had researched the business before his visit.
“When you’ve done people like Deontay Wilder – I’ve checked the reviews and obviously you’re the best lady to come to. So I am looking forward to it,” he said.
The reference to former world heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder highlighted the salon’s connections with high-profile names from the sport.
For Farooq, an award-winning practitioner and founder of Prity’s, the visit was another welcome endorsement of the Bradford business.

“It was an honour to have another world champion visit us,” she told Asian Standard.
“I was impressed he had looked us up and checked out our reviews.”
Farooq said she believed the salon’s focus on customer experience had helped attract clients from beyond Bradford.
“All our client reviews are important to us and providing 100% satisfaction to each and every one of them is probably why news is getting out there to people like Gaz Crush to come and try our treatments.
“I am glad he had a good experience.”
Following his visit, Corran took to social media to share his appreciation for the Bradford salon, writing: “💙 thankyou so much Prity ! My skin looks amazing and I feel great from the NAD DRIP 🙌”
Corran’s visit offers a glimpse of how the worlds of professional combat sports and personal grooming increasingly cross paths, with fighters seeking treatments away from the demands of training and competition.
For Prity’s, it was also an opportunity to welcome a sporting champion whose career has taken him from Lancashire to the international fighting stage.
And while Corran has built his reputation on delivering punishment in the ring, his Bradford visit was all about taking some time out.
