The social media creator began posting trainspotting videos to his TikTok account during the Covid-19 pandemic and has since amassed 2.1 million fans and 36.9m likes.

The Tik Tok phenomenon and engineering student records himself with his GoPro camera, filming his face from a humorous angle, which has become synonymous with his channel.

In a video produced by Highsnobiety, the advert sees the train fanatic as a train platform announcer, who is alerting young, fashionable people about an upcoming service.

Oakworth Railway Station is clear in the advert, with a steam train rolling into the station on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, before moving off around half a minute later.

A representative at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway said: “It’s great that such international high profile brands as Gucci & The North Face choose to use heritage locations like the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway to create adverts, it’s a perfect opportunity to promote the heritage.

“The advert showcased Oakworth Station, the countryside, rolling stock and one of the locomotives, all of which are in regular use. Francis Bourgeois was the perfect talent to feature in the advert, the sheer light-hearted joy you see in the advert, is naturally Francis.”

Councillor Mohsin Hussain for Keighley Central (Labour) said: “It’s a great initive to put Keighley’s famous heritage on an advert. This clearly shows the beauty of our town in the district and I think Gucci and North Face for progressing with this.”
