My Delhi Newcastle has been recognised in Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards 2025, ranking number 22 in the UK for Casual Dining, and placing the restaurant among the top 1% of restaurants worldwide.
The Best of the Best is Tripadvisor’s highest honour, awarded to venues that consistently
receive exceptional reviews from guests. My Delhi Newcastle is the only Indian restaurant in the North East to achieve a place on this prestigious list.
For the past three years, My Delhi Newcastle has proudly held Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award, which recognises the top 10% of restaurants globally. This year marks a milestone, as the restaurant has gone one step further, breaking into the elite Best of the Best category – a recognition reserved for the top 1% worldwide.

Since opening in 2019, My Delhi Newcastle has become known for its authentic Delhi street food served in a premium casual setting. With chefs from Delhi and across India, the restaurant serves dishes our chefs grew up eating in India’s capital city, bringing guests the true flavours of Delhi.
My Delhi has other branches in Sunderland and Leicester, and a growing reputation nationwide. The team has confirmed it is actively expanding and hopes to announce a new UK location very soon.
