Police appeal after attempted burglary in Mirfield

The break-in happened sometime during the night last month.

Police investigating an attempted burglary in Mirfield are appealing for information.

The incident happened sometime between 11pm on 23 April and 6am on 24 April at an address in Camm Lane, where a lock was snapped in an attempt to gain entry to the property.

Enquiries have since established that criminal damage was caused to a vehicle in the same street at around a similar time and officers from Kirklees District CID are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area.

Anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact Kirklees District CID on 101 or by using the LiveChat on the West Yorkshire Police website.
