Police appeal for witnesses after woman injured in hit-and-run

The incident happened last Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run. 

Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID into a collision on Caledonia Street, Bowling and Barkerend, on Friday 20 May.

It took place at about 2.40pm when an Audi A3 hit a woman before making off from the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is being treated for injuries which are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.

Following enquiries, a 41-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident and the vehicle was recovered.

The man remains in police custody for questioning.
