Renewed appeal for Bradford man not seen in eight days

Officers are continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of Adil Akksar.

Update: Adil Akksar has been found safe and well.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police, said: ” Adil Akksar who was the subject of a missing person’s appeal has been found safe and well. Thank you to all those who shared the appeal.”

Police are concerned for the welfare of a 28-year-old Bradford man who has not been seen for eight days.

Adil Akksar was last seen in the Airedale area of Bradford at midday on Monday, 7 March.

Officers believe that he may have travelled to Sussex and could have visited a pub on Nevill Road in Hove.

Mr Akksar is described as an Asian man, 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build, with short, black hair and facial hair.


Extensive enquiries have been made over the past week to locate him.

Anyone who has seen him or with information about his movements or whereabouts is asked to contact police by calling 101 or using 101 Live Chat, quoting log 628 of 03/07.

Similarly, if Adil himself becomes aware of this appeal he is asked to make contact with the police to confirm he is okay.
