Squid Game in REAL life? Big-time YouTubers recreate the series!

If you’ve not heard of Squid Game jut yet then you’ve probably not been watching the news! Squid Game has become the number watched TV series in the history of the juggernaut company Netflix.

The series follows a series of characters who are in millions of pounds in debt and take on the opportunity to make over £456,000,000 to not only pay off their debt but live a better life. In order for these vulnerable people to win, it requires them to play primary school games against each other. The twist of the series is, if you lose you die!

Fast forward a couple of months after the series aired, world know YouTubers have taken inspiration and reenacted the entire series.

Anwar Jibabwi, the Palestinian YouTuber recreated the show but with a slight ‘desi’ twist. In his video found on his YouTube channel, he shows what would happen if you don’t do the dishes or clean the house.

His Mother is part of the video and there are certain ‘chores’ they have to do or get hit with a ‘chapal’ known to many as a slipper. The hilarious goes on to showing the 3 options every Asian has in their future career goal which is either choosing to be a doctor, actor or engineer. Whoever gets it wrong, receives a slipper which means they’re out of the game.

Another big YouTuber known as Bekaar Films in Pakistan shows recreates the series too but with a more emotional twist in the beginning. At the start of the video we find the main character struggling to make any money and ends up joining the game, an exact replica of the series.

The final and the one with the most views is the video created by MrBeast. MrBeast has a whooping over 70-million subscribers on his YouTube and the video he recreated has over 35-million in less than 24 hours.

In the 25-minute-long video, Mr Beast recreates not only the show but the entire Squid Game children’s games which are played throughout the series. It’s a very edge-of-your-seat type of video with a cash prize of not the £456,000,000 on the show but £456,000 – still a sum which could change a person’s life! The final game is musical chairs which ends with both as you can imagine the final winner in the chair when the music stops.

The series still remains one of the biggest on Netflix and one many people are still watching. The director and creator of the series Hwang Dong-hyuk has expressed in interviews in the past how amazing it is seeing the support he has received over the success of the show and is in two minds of creating a season two of the series.

It does seem like the show will get a series two after how much fans have loved the first series. Nothing yet has been confirmed but fans and very cautious to see what happens.
