Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Chief Pharmacist Jaspreet Sohal has helped to set up the new NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Centre at Jacob’s Well, Bradford and local residents are thankful to be receiving their vaccinations. 

She said: “I can’t tell you how proud I am to have been part of this project to vaccinate the people of Bradford. 

Gurmej Kaur and her daughter Kashmira attended Jacob’s Well vaccination centre this week.

“The whole Trust has come together to get this up and running and I can’t wait for my family to come and be vaccinated here.”

Kashmira Kaur cares for her mum Gurmej Kaur (78) and brought her to have her vaccination at Jacob’s Well. 

Gurmej said: “I wasn’t worried. I’m feeling better now I’ve had my jab”. 

Kashmira said: “I feel it’s a must to protect my mum as there have been so many lives lost. I’m looking forward to her having her second dose.”

Madhuben Mistry (75) from Clayton, Bradford was also pleased to get her jab. 

She said: “My husband is very unwell so I wanted to get the jab as I look after him. I felt safe having it and I have more peace of mind now.”
