A week before the awards, Asian Standard had a chance to chat with Faisal, where he had said, “It would mean a lot, because we have been in Bradford for a long time, the location of our restaurant is such that we serve both Leeds and Bradford, so it will be a recognition for us among the customers if we win it.”
Faisal Hussain, after winning the award said, “I feel honoured. This award means so much to me and the team.
“We put out a lot of work, especially after Covid. A lot of restaurants were affected. We really pushed ourselves, and hopefully we look forward to the next year.”
“My team has put in a lot, so well done to them. Our customers, the support we have got from them, It’s just amazing”.
Faisal proudly shares Shimla Spice, was part of the team for six consecutive years, who played a role in giving Bradford, it’s title for UK’s Curry Capital.
