The BBC presenter will cut the ribbon at 10am on Saturday, 19 September, as the beauty and personal care retailer opens one of its new-generation “Studio Stores” in the city.
Bradford will become only the fourth location to get the new Bodycare format, following openings in Sheffield, Derby and Leicester.
The concept marks a change from the traditional Bodycare stores familiar to many high street shoppers, with the retailer adding beauty services, technology and spaces designed for content creation alongside its usual cosmetics, skincare, haircare and personal care ranges.
One of the more unusual additions at the Bradford branch will be a free Creator Studio.
The space will be available for local influencers, content creators, community groups and customers to create and share digital content.
The store will also include a piercing studio staffed by a trained nurse, an expanded Technic cosmetics range and a selection of Korean beauty products.
A series of activities are planned for Saturday’s opening, including a flashmob at The Broadway, beauty masterclasses, goody bags and appearances from surprise guests.
The Bradford opening comes as Bodycare attempts to rebuild its presence on UK high streets through a new generation of stores.
The company says the expansion is creating jobs and has also seen experienced former Bodycare employees return to the business.
Charles Denton, CEO of Bodycare, said Bradford’s relatively young population was one of the reasons the city had been selected for the new store format.
He said: “With around one in three Bradford residents aged under 25, the city has one of the youngest populations in the UK, making it the perfect home for Bodycare’s new-generation Studio Store.

Ian Ward, General Manager at The Broadway, said the store would add another new retailer to the shopping centre.
